Declan Rice was again caught struggling during an England goal celebration in their emphatic 4-0 victory over Ukraine.

The midfielder suffered a cramp which prevented him joining in on Harry Kane’s goal celebration during their 2-0 win over Germany last time out.

This time, as Harry Maguire headed home England’s second goal in the quarter-final, Rice found himself in a chokehold courtesy of the England captain.

The West Ham midfielder was one of the first on the scene this time to celebrate with the Manchester United defender.

But then from behind Kane jumped onto the backs of both Maguire and Rice and had his arm wrapped around the latter’s neck accidently putting him in a chokehold.

Rice visibly looked like he was struggling though he joked about the moment in a post on on Twitter after the game.

He shared footage of the video posted by the BBC’s Match of the Day account with the caption: ‘Why always me’.

Kane who scored twice during the game eventually let go of Rice, who then started to smile again as the celebrations continued.

Against Germany, Rice was just coming back onto the pitch after stretching for the ball on the right wing when Kane headed in Jack Grealish’s cross to put the Three Lions in dreamland.

But as Rice attempted to go over and join in the wild celebrations, he was hit with bolt of cramp in his right leg – causing him to dramatically fall to the ground.

Rice who was a yellow card away from suspension was taken off after 57 minutes as England raced to a 3-0 lead as Kane scored a second after Maguire’s goal.

His replacement Jordan Henderson added a fourth, as England will now go on to face Denmark at Wembley on Wednesday in the semi-finals.
