HBO axes controversial Royal Family cartoon The Prince which mocked Prince George

The HBO cartoon, which gave a satirical look into the life of the future monarch has been axed by TV bosses. Pirates of the Caribbean star Orlando Bloom voiced Prince Harry in The Prince, while Dan Stevens portrayed both Prince Charles and Prince Philip. Sophie Turner voiced Princess Charlotte, Lucy Punch as Kate Middleton and Condola Rashad gave the voiceover for Meghan Markle.

However, HBO and HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys confirmed during an interview, the show had been scrapped.

“The Prince is not moving forward,” the TV chief told Deadline.
