Kevin Costner’s wife, Christine Baumgartner, has filed for divorce to end their 18-year marriage.
Reports say the designer filed to end their marriage on Monday (May 1), citing “irreconcilable differences”.
Baumgartner, 49, has asked in the filing for joint custody of their three children,Cayden, 15, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 12.
However, she has not asked for spousal support as reports say there is a prenuptial agreement in place.
A representative for the Hollywood superstar told TMZ: “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.

“We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
The Bodyguard and Robgin Hood, Prince of Thieves actor, 68, confirmed to the outlet that he would also be seeking joint custody of the children.
The couple began dating in 1999 shortly after Costner split from Bridget Rooney, with whom he has a son Liam, 27.
They briefly separated in 2003 but reunited the following year and married in Aspen, Colorado.
Their oldest son, Cayden, was born in May 2007 and their second son, Hayes, in February 2009. A year later, the pair welcomed their daughter, Grace.
The breakup comes after it was reported that Yellowstone, the show that won him a Golden Globe for his role as John Dutton, was cancelled due to his dispute with creator Taylor Sheridan.
