A massive police dispersal order has been put in place in the centre of Manchester, after a paramedic was pushed off his bike by someone in a group of 150 people “causing disruption” in the city.
The incident took place at around 3.45pm on Sunday (May 7). Authorities say the paramedic was pushed off his bike by one of a large group “engaging in anti-social behaviour” however he was left uninjured.
The group then moved across the tram tracks and into the famous Arndale Centre according to police.
Additional officers were deployed to combat the group, which was alleged to be spraying the walls of the shopping centre and the windows outside.
