A desperate hunt has been launched to find four boys who vanished after going on a camping trip.
Jevon Hirst, Harvey Owen, Wilf Henderson and Hugo Morris were meant to arrive home on Monday morning (November 20) but have not been seen or heard from by their families.
The friends from the Shrewsbury area, understood to be in their late teens, were last seen getting into a silver Ford Fiesta – with the number plate HY14 GVO – on Sunday morning.
It’s thought they could have been heading into Snowdonia in Wales and were seen travelling near coastal areas Harlech and Porthmadog.
Their families are ‘frantic with worry’ as the lack of contact was out of character for the boys, who have been described as experienced campers.
None of them have made contact with friends or family, and their phones are switched off.
North Wales police have launched an appeal, asking anyone with information to contact them using the reference A184194.
