Paul McCartney pays emotional tribute to Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins after 'sudden death'

In a statement on social media, they added: “We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned.

“Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together. With love, Foo Fighters.”

According to Colombian authorities, a toxicology report showed traces of 10 drug substances in Taylor’s body after he died.

However, the cause of his death has not yet been confirmed and investigators have not said if the mix of drugs was a factor.
