Prince William angry at Harry for 'betrayal' and has 'no interest in talking to him'

NewsPrince William angry at Harry for 'betrayal' and has 'no interest in talking to him'

Prince William has no interest in talking to his brother who he feels betrayed him with the release of his book Spare, a royal insider has claimed.

In his memoir, Prince Harry claimed his brother “knocked me to the floor” in a row over Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex in 2019.

None of the royals has commented on this allegation, but reports suggest William is furious with his brother ahead of the Coronation of King Charles in May.

A source close to the Sussexes has told Entertainment Tonight that William is “still upset about Harry’s book”, calling Spare “a betrayal”.

They said: “William feels it was a betrayal and he has no interest in communicating with Harry before the Coronation about their disagreements.

“The relationship is still fractured, and it is unclear when they will be able to mend fences.”

Harry and Meghan both stepped away from royal duties in 2020. They have since lived in Montecito, California.

Since then, the Sussexes have made a number of dining allegations about the Royal Family.

The Duchess reportedly thinks it is “ridiculous” to suggest she is missing the event because of a letter she wrote to the King expressing concern about unconscious bias in the Royal Family over two years ago.

Royal author Omid Scobie said on Sunday: “The Duchess of Sussex is going about her life in the present, not thinking about correspondence from two years ago related to conversations from four years ago.

“Any suggestion otherwise is false and frankly ridiculous.

“We encourage tabloid media and various other royal correspondents to stop exhausting the circus that they alone are creating.”

In the letter, Meghan said she did not believe the comment about her son’s skin colour was made with malice, it was claimed.
