Royal Family LIVE: Inside Harry's 'very sad' 28hrs in UK and Last Supper at former home

NewsRoyal Family LIVE: Inside Harry's 'very sad' 28hrs in UK and Last Supper at former home

Prince Harry had a “lonely Last Supper” before heading to the Coronation on Saturday as he spent a “sad” 28 hours in the UK, an expert has claimed. According to reports, the Duke of Sussex drove straight to his former home in London, Frogmore Cottage, after landing from a commercial flight from Los Angeles. Daniela Elser, a royal expert, said Harry would be facing “a lonely, final dinner for one” at the cottage that he had shared with Meghan Markle when the couple resided in the UK.

Writing for news.com.au, she said: “While the Waleses soaked up the people’s adulation, grinning and bearing their way through endless selfies that day, Harry was facing what might have been a lonely, final dinner-for-one in his soon-to-be ex-home.

“Was there a microwave pizza involved? A takeaway and a can of lager? A cold bowl of baked beans, the only thing left in a denuded pantry?

“Going into the Coronation weekend, the chances of Harry and his wider family enjoying any sort of warm, tender moments involving hugs (or even handshakes) was about as likely as Princess Anne giving up her beloved subscription to Farm Equipment magazine.

Harry is now back in California with the Duchess of Sussex and his two children Archie and Lilibet.

It was reported that he left after King Charles’s Coronation at Westminster Abbey, after claims he was not invited back to the Palace.

He flew back to celebrate his son Archie’s fourth birthday on a commercial flight.
