Samantha Markle, who is the elder daughter of Thomas Markle, has accused her half-sister Meghan Markle of making her look like a “fame-seeking stranger”. According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, the lawsuit of Meghan’s sibling filed an amended complaint on April 13. The 58-year-old has claimed that she was defamed by the Duchess’s comments made in Harry and Meghan’s 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The judge wrote, at the time, that “as a reasonable listener would understand it, Defendant merely expresses an opinion about her childhood and her relationship with her half-siblings”.
The court found that the “Defendant’s statement is not objectively verifiable or subject to empirical proof.”
They added that the “Plaintiff cannot plausibly disprove Defendant’s opinion of her own childhood”.
Samantha’s lawyers claim that the interview “falsely portrayed” the former actress as an only child.

It claimed that she had no relationship, at all, with her half-siblings.
Samantha also emphasised that she didn’t change her last name to Markle to “cash in” on Meghan’s fame.
Prior to joining the Royal Family, Meghan Markle was an actress of ‘Suits’.
The news comes as the Palace confirmed, on Wednesday, that Meghan will not attend the King’s Coronation on May 6.
According to the statement, Meghan will “remain” in the US with Archie – who will turn four on the day of the Coronation – and Lilibet.
Harry will return to the UK alone to join his family for the King’s big day.
