The son of Ian Coates, one of the three victims of the savage attack in Nottingham yesterday morning has broken his silence on social media.
Lee Coates said he was “broken” and called for people to respect the family’s privacy in the wake of his father’s death.
“If people can respect my family’s privacy at this stage. We are still in shock,” he wrote on Twitter.
“Last thing I need to be hearing is journalists knocking on family members door. Again please be respectful we are mourning.”
He added “RIP Dad” in reply to a tweet from Sky News naming him as one of the victims.
