The man accused of shooting dead five people at his neighbour’s home in Cleveland, Texas has been arrested after being found hiding under laundry in a closet. Francisco Oropesa was arrested on Tuesday evening without incident by Border Patrol special agents in the nearby city of Cut and Shoot. He had spent four days on the run from authorities since the horrifying attack Friday night.
San Jacinto County Greg Capers told a press conference branded the suspect a “coward” and said he was found hiding in a closet following a tip-off to law enforcement.
He said: “He was caught hiding in a closet underneath some laundry. They effectively made the arrest. He is uninjured.”
