Tucker Carlson has broken his silence after getting ousted from his prime-time host position on Fox News on Monday.
Carlson was shown the door days after the channel agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787million for airing false claims of voter fraud during the 2020 election.
Fox said that the network and Carlson had “agreed to part ways,” but offered no explanation for the stunning move, saying that the last broadcast of “Tucker Carlson Tonight” aired last Friday. Carlson ended the show by saying, “We’ll be back on Monday”.
The prime-time host broke his silence in response to a provocative reaction from senior Department of Defense official said:”We’re a better country without him bagging on our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people.”
Carlson quipped in response: “Ha! I’m sure.”
