The Queen stripped off Prince Andrew of his titles and patronages after the US judge decided to take the case to trial. Royal commentator Rachel Bowie claimed that the Queen was “too little, too late” to drop the Duke of York’s titles and patronages. He has been accused of sexual assault case by the accuser Virginia Giuffre, a claim he vehemently denies.

Rachel Bowie, a host of the Royally Obsessed podcast said: “I mean the biggest question that we are asking, that everyone is asking. Why the f*** did it take so long? I am happy to drop enough F bomb for that one and sorry if anyone is offended.

“But I do think I have an answer, well multiple answers.

“My theory is this: as a mother, this is stuff of nightmares but your mom believes in you more than anyone, and she still held out hope that he would be vindicated.

“She was going to wait for innocence until proven guilty on probably the worst advice we’ve seen in the history of Royal Family that everything would work out regardless of ignoring the fact Virginia brought Andrew’s name into this in 2015, seven years go, seven years.

“We also have Ghislaine Maxwell guilty, we have the Newsnight interview – disastrous. We have the judge dismissing the motion to avoid the trial which was finally the icing on the cake which kind of made the Queen take the action.

“But he still, I mean all this time, I just feel like too little too late.”

Prince Andrew is facing a legal civil sex case in the US over the accusations of “committed sexual assault and battery” by Virginia Giuffre when she was just 17-years-old.

She was trafficked by former socialite Ghislaine Maxwell and sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

It read: “It’s been eleven years since the press revealed Prince Andrew’s inappropriate friendship with Jeffrey Epstein” who has made him to “step back” but not step down from the titles.

“We understand that he is your son, but we write to you in your capacity as head of state and as Commander-in-Chief of the Army, Navy, and Air Force.

“These steps could have been taken at any time in the past 11 years. Please do not leave it any longer.”

It is known that Prince Andrew has also deleted his Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook accounts days after he was forced to step down from the Royal duties and had his titles removed.
