Yellowstone's Rip Wheeler star lands major film role as season 5 still unconfirmed

Their scheme quickly gets out of control when more and more townsfolk want in, eventually leading to multiple murders.

Hollywood veteran Morgan will play the town’s seasoned sheriff, Thurmond Fowler.

After serving his town for over four decades, he’ll stop at nothing to unravel the mystery, but ends up with much more than he bargained for.

The film’s original screenplay is by Timothy Holland, with Michael Mailer directing, Andrew Stevens producing and Milestone Productions’ Dawn Bursteen and Alan B Bursteen as executive producers.

The Yellowstone regular has officially signed on to the cast of smalltown thriller The Minute You Wake Up Dead.

Filming for the new project is currently underway in Mississippi, with Hollywood stars Morgan and Jaime rounding out the main ensemble.

Cole’s new role away from Paramount will be his first feature since leading the sports drama The Last Champion, which was released in 2020.

He’ll portray a stockbroker living in a small southern town who finds himself wrapped up in an insurance scam with his next-door neighbour, played by Jaimie.
